Planet Thorburn is a blog operated by Alexander Thorburn Hoffman. Planet Thorburn features cartoons, comics and artistic political satire.
Alex Hoffman has a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA, where he worked as a political cartoonist for UCLA's award winning student newspaper, The Daily Bruin. While on staff, he won several statewide awards for his cartoons. He received a J.D. from Southwestern Law School. At Southwestern, he continued cartooning for the monthly law magazine, The Commentator as well as designed the covers for each issue. He is also the creator of the webcomic, Libertarian Rabbits From Outer Space.
Presently he is a contributor and political cartoonist for the blog When Falls The Coliseum, a freelance cartoonist for Cartoon Movement and a graphic artist for Townhall's Freedom Cards.
He currently lives in North Hollywood, California.
